1968 Dodge Coronet 440 Pro Touring Car
Body and Frame are Solid, this was an original 383 car with AC, built and spend it's time on the west coast.
Original color is white with green interior. Looks like it has 1 repaint, now Orange with pearl. It's a 10 footer, not a $10,000 paint job...

Still working some kinks out with the new reman'd Saginaw Pump, but the Borgeson Steering Box has made the car much more connected to the steering wheel. No more slop!
I didn't think I would feel a change from 3.55 to 3.23's kicking around town but it noticeable, however...

My old 383 build in a 4000 pd b body had a Comp XE274 with closed chambered heads with Kb 162’s. It had 9.1 comp with a steel shim head gasket. With 3.73 gears and a 11” turbo action 2800rpm converter it still was/is pretty quick.
My old 516 heads were 82-84 cc, and those were milled a tiny...
Idler arm replacement didn't cut it, it was actually a PST unit which had some slop to it, the Moog one I put it didn't go in willingly, super tight. Looks like i'll need to do the Pitman arm and adjust the PS Box, quite a bit of play at the wheel.
Long Term I'll probably need to do a PS Box...
My ex '67, had bent axleshaft which was found out by the guy I sold it to. Not real sure how it happened but I had a mild vibration at 55-60 mph at light throttle, went away with more pedal.
Jack it up on all 4's and running through the gears and see if it's bent.
Not much in the way of Mods to keep you guys updated with but I did finally get around to having Hotchkiss Subframe Connectors welded on, also trimmed off 1/2” off the LCA Bumpers.. Michael I don’t how you were driving on the bumpers and a bad Idler Arm.

Important to note, I took up a lot of slack in my old lokar setup to get the lever where they sugguest. Was a dramatically different after i did it.
