I've been cleaning up the engine compartment. 383 has been replaced years ago. Looking for stamp marks on front of block. Nothing stamped on the traditional pad, drivers side front of engine. Only marks I found was passenger side under the distributor. numbers 50685. Anyone know what this means?
Any suggestions on how to remove stuck plugs. Just picked up a 383 charger. Was going to put new plugs in but the first one I tried to remove is stuck. I don't want to go any further. I have no idea how long these plugs were in the engine.
This is all new to me. I can't find any reproduction floor for this area. Mine has rust holes, picture attached. Can these be welded up? At what point does one replace the metal? Would I need a bead roller to start if I need to replace? Any suggestions?
