There could be a white but it piggy backs off the red on the dash harness side. It feeds to the bulkhead cavity d and changes color to violet on the engine side. It feeds the backup light switch on the tranny.

After looking at both 69 & 70 wiring diagrams I believe you may have the power harness for the console lighting. I do not see this on the 69 diagram. However the 70 diagram shows the orange and pink wires.
