I see they do show this piece with the plastic attached and not the rubber steel core like I have. It doesn't make any difference to me as long as the plastic will work in my bracket. I guess if it doesn't, I'll be buying this whole piece.

Hi guys I'm a long time Mopar fan who sold my Roadrunner project some years ago and bought a 55 Chevy. I'm going back to my roots and picking up a 68 Roadrunner that I intend to build as a Hemi 4 Speed Street car. I've looked at many cars some are really expensive even though they're not...
I'm working on my 1970 Roadrunner which is a column shift car. I'm going through all of the shifter linkage and bushings because they are junk!
I have located the torque shaft bushings that I need for one side. For the side that attaches to the transmission, it's got some kind of a steel core...
Today I blasted the internal frame coating into the lap seams and some other areas. Made sure I vacuumed up the loose debris first though. Sometime later on I'll put the seam sealer on.
