I didn't use firm feel.I had it rebuilt locally in MI.It was years ago.It sat dry for a long time during the resto. before it was installed.Im going to reach out to them and see what they say.
I looked at the exploded view in the manual and it shows an o ring under the threaded ,castle nut looking retainer.Could be it .? I will post what worked for me when I get there.
Thanks for the reply.I had everything rebuilt from classic Auto Air some time ago.Would they fill the compressor in that process? I haven't put oil into it.Is there a oil plug I could check?
I wiped everything down.Hoses are dry so I concluded it was coming from the box housing .The fluid puddles there in the picture.Could be coming from somewhere else?
Is it normal if the A/C clutch turns for a second after I turn the car off? The belt is on the pulley turning the clutch,but the system is not functional.I'm trying to get the car running ,moving and stopping,before diving into the air.Thanks for the info.

I have a question to ask about the retainer clips and covers for shoulder belts.What size are the clips & covers for a 1970 Charger? I found 2" and 2 1/2 " sizes.Both look very similar in style.The clips are a little different.
