    Yes it was a pollution item with a solenoid on the car. Actually, talked to the guy that designed it. Pretty stupid but they need a few emission reductions that year and that was one of them. Think about it the ignition is off.

    Issues with coils

    Biggest thing with coils are to make sure the ohms match what is recommended for the system. They usually go from 3-.o3 ohms easy to mismatch.

    Heat does that bet the gooey one was stored with the potting down. The other up. Nice blue box better than a chrome box.
