not so simple. The lifter pumps up most of the time when the valve floats so you need higher pressure valve springs. higher pressure valve springs can cause lifter bleed down which causes the valves to slam shut plus you lose valve lift and cost at least 15 HP and up to 30 HP. what about burnt...
What I spoke of, and your homemade explosive are two vastly different things. A primer in a cartridge, minus the bullet and powder, will not cause shrapnel. If it did than everytime a cartridge was fired the primer would blow apart, that doesn’t happen. Where as, just the primer itself wrapped...
I was wondering if there was something else that might trigger the brake light but I just couldn't see in the the electrical diagram where that other something linked to the brake light bulb. Maybe it's the P2-18BK wire in Diagram #3.... (God, I hate electrical....)
I'm not that far away from wiring & if all goes well, I would think that I'll be firing it up (or attempting to fire it up) some time in February. Still waiting on my driveshaft to be made.
Roughly a 2000 real box. Do not run it with the recommended .25 ohm ballast it will burn up on the street, designed for the strip where it will achieve the max RPM and cool down between runs. Use around A .8 ballast for the street you will not get 10K rpms though. Usually around 7K on my tester.
Fo those curious.... Here is what's inside what I believe was an original factory orange box. Also included is a schematic of this orange box. The box had a black potting material which was a semi flexible, semi sticky, non liquid filling that interestingly did not really adhere to the parts...
My opinion I would not do the silver sport kit. That GM transmission is for pickups it has a deep 3.07 first gear ratio and large gear spacing because of that. And it has never been that good of a transmission to start with. Ultra bell/518 is the best option, same gear ratio 1-3 + overdrive...
Haha - I thought about it. But it was so much hassle doing all the measuring for fit with my Air Grabber. I don't know how all this would fit with my hood!
I grew up across from a chrysler plant... the parking lot was fights and empty 40s everywhere and the smell of weed.... the standard was "Did it stay on?"
