Big Block Valve Cover Pics Thread?

Don't forget the 1967-specific chrome steel valve covers on the 440 Magnums from Ma herself. I have a set of those on Fred that I specifically went hunting for. (The steel is a heavier gauge than the ones later issued by DC/MP....) I got VERY lucky on price on these originals - seems these...

    Television Shows

Pretty good so far (BB Thornton was intended for the part from the get-go according to Taylor Sheridan). I watch it simply to watch him deliver BBT-type lines. :) I'd be on-board for another go at Justified also - IF Timothy Oliphants' daughter isn't part of it this time. That one they just...

How to make a better home cooked hamburger ?

I don't need to try either pineapple or avocado on a burger (or pizza, for that matter) to know that neither has any damn business on them. :wtf:

How to make a better home cooked hamburger ?

Yeah, that's what I've read. Once at the store, I did some quick math at the meat display and decided that such a blend sort of defeated the whole point of hamburger to begin with, pricewise. :)

Any Brake Master Cylinder Not Made In China?

NOS = new factory Mopar part (new old stock) NORS = new aftermarket replacement part (new old replacement stock) Yes, I know the difference and didn't claim anything to the contrary.

    Cast iron pans

I've got a set of three skillets that are easily three quarters of a century old, passed down from my mama - who in turn got them from her mama, etc. I learned how to cook in those as a teenager - but I haven't used them in years, due in no small part to the advent of glass top stoves (and a...

Any Brake Master Cylinder Not Made In China?

I am awaiting arrival of an old (but new in box) Eis master cylinder I found recently online: Interesting looking lid, eh? No way was I going to buy anything made in China....

How to make a better home cooked hamburger ?

After years of fussing about how the regional stores had lost quality in their ground beef (and don't get me started on how bad things have gotten with any of the fast food joints), my wife decided to call my bluff and get me a grinder attachment for our old school KitchenAid monster. That...

    Beware Fake NOS Parts

I've not heard tale of him peddling fake NOS, at least knowingly. Might have been because he realized folks sort of expected NOS parts to arrive in original boxes too, eh? Yeah, that's me. I only buy when there's recourse if something goes wonky anymore.... and yes, I'm sure we're all aware...

    Throwing bullets into a fire??

Why in the hell would you want to? I'm either procuring ammo, shooting practice stuff (or hoarding a couple of them). If I get ahold of a caliber I don't need, it gets traded for what I do need.

Trying to get better braking out of my 67 GTX 11” drums

Yeah, there's too many hands that method involves anymore for my taste. Electronic transfer is safer and quicker for both parties.
