This is a OEM Big Block Left Side Valve Cover. It came off
of a 1974 440ci. It is original, not a china knockoff, and is in
good condition. It was painted black at some point in it's life,
and has some spots of surface rust inside, so it needs a cleanup.

Would the CAP system be called out on the build sheet? If so, where?
A buddy has a 67 Hemi GTX and he says there is a “7” in the box for the distributor. This is odd because neither the CAP nor the non-CAP distributors end in a 7.
CRT website shows out of stock for the adapters, which appear to be from JVX Racing, who are not answering the phone or returning calls at this time. That leaves cutting the bellhousing off the 46RH and using an Ultra-Bell or doing the Silver Sport A41 swap.

We had some of our burger grind of chuck, rib and sirloin last night - equal parts, at least I tried to make.

I understand your point of view and success. I don't want 60 year old evaporators leaking R134 every three weeks. Been there done that, and us Arizonians like "MAX" AC recirculating. I won't miss the fresh air. My experience is not the same as yours and I prefer Vintage Air systems.
