I had a spare vacuum switch, and I opened it up since it was in bad shape, and the nipples have a larger inner diameter than the holes on the flip side of the nipples. So, if I drill the holes out to put in the brass tubes, I wonder what that would do to the function of the switch. Plus, if I go...

The 5 speed would be much more fun on the track, just like when you brought the post-Dart. You should bring it to Willow Springs so we can follow each other through the turns and then we'll have a re-match for noon time drags, this time my Satellite vs the Coronet:)
In both the 62 and 64 FSMs and this piece turns down in the pics, no distinction between V8 or 6, 3 or 4 speed.
Mine turns up and fits fine in my 62.
No idea why some turn down.

I have Mopar Performance v/c's as well, but the black wrinkle is faded and flaking off in places. I'm considering stripping off all the black and polishing them. What's the best way to strip off the black wrinkle?
