Gtxrt is right on. You can't have a higher stall converter with 294s. The converter definitely does not like it. If you're going to use 294s you have to build for bottom end power and a tight converter

Multiple issues. Besides it being too far forward, it doesn't have the ledge off the back for the console to screw into and as you can see a bolt is not screwed in. There's some really s***** welding and it's pop riveted into place
Thanks. Now I got to find a shifter, the guy copped an a-body shifter. It does not have the ledge coming off the back for the console to screw into. Would anybody have one?
