My mistake. I read “ original”, “never used” and assumed it is an NOS part. Not considering the after repair. If the seller didn’t make the claim, I shouldn’t. I edited title and description.
Superbird nose. This is on Facebook Marketplace. Selma, NC. Posted by Billy West Mopar. Billy West was the Mopar guru in the 70’s, 80’s. Probably still is. I don’t know him personally.

Have you verified that you have near 6 psi? Looks like you have some kind of pressure regulator on the inner fender.
Geoff2 said that he thinks the venturi bore size is too large. Do you have a vacuum gauge on the engine?
What does the vacuum drop to on WOT?
Pardon me, if you have already...
Could this be a fuel supply problem? You said that the stumble occurred with other carbs.
Fuel pressure too low?
I know you said it accelerates great from a standstill but, it also has time to idle, thus filling the fuel bowls ahead of the WOT event.
I have had a similar problem with a Holley...
She would have to have changed clothes. There is film footage of her and Noonan boarding the Electra at Lae, New Guinea. Clothes in the photo don't match.
Problem is most of that leg of the flight was at night. Kind of difficult to do reconnaissance at night in 1937. Also, the aircraft was stripped bare at Lae. This is well documented by Earhart and testimony from the station manager at Lae.
At each stop on her world fight, Amelia would send...
No. Probably not. Typical routing. I used to buy and sell on Ebay. Watching the tracking; I've seen stuff go past my location and then return. Here where I live there are hubs for FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
One package went from Southport, NC, 'past my house' so to speak, onto New Jersey and then...
For Sale: The radiator from a '68 Charger with a 318, automatic. Factory air conditioner car. Radiator in poor condition The side supports have popped loose.
Evidence of leaking.
The white stuff is some kind of spray coating the previous owner was applying to the walls of his shop.
$60 plus...
As per the title and I did do a Forum search. I only found 2 threads, so I must be doing something wrong.
Moderate acceleration, a long 2-3 shift overlap. Definitely feel the car slow some, engine rpm reduced (exhaust note). I say it lasts about 2 full seconds.
Which isn't quick as some...
Yeh. First noticed a problem when my radio started leaking oil.
Have an OEM electrical (thermal) gauge, now, and is not range marked numerically. I just look for a consistent indication. I did initially verify it's indication with a temporary mechanical test gauge Tee'd in at the engine block.
Fine metal particles on a fresh rebuild is normal, in small amounts. Use a magnet to collect it. If you have a big fuzzy pile, that could indicate abnormal wear.
Since you have decreasing metal particles with each consecutive inspection, I would say that everything is normal with that engine.
Came across something similar with RockAuto. Was going to buy an air filter for a 340. $2.59. Name brand,(fairly sure it wasn't fram). Went to checkout and it was $14.59 shipping. I bought it from my local Advance. Paid $6 and change.
As far as aircraft engines wearing valve guides, cylinder wear ,etc. That all depends on how you operate the engine.
The company I work for had 5 Beech Barons, twin engine, IO-520 engines. I saw that fleet go to TBO 3 separate times. That's 30 engines with a cumulative 51,000 operating hours...
There are solid state electronic ones available on Ebay. Also, online. Can't remember the name. RTT or something. Anyway, if you do an internet search with the part number of your Limiter. 1V3 or whatevery, you will get the right result. They aren't cheap. About $45.00 but, they do have...
My understanding is that there is nothing wrong with the fuel. It is in an above ground tank. The tank is being replaced and the manager does not or cannot transfer it to the new tank.
I live 300 miles from Jackson Co. airport. Another 1000 miles to MA? $$$$
If I had a towable fuel tank, I'd...
