    New to the FBBO community

Hello to all in the FBBO community. I'm excited to absorb more Mopar knowledge from those who know it best. I am a life long muscle car enthusiast, who has loved the classic car hobby since I was a teenager (so, 40+ years now). My wife and I have been building a collection of American muscle...

    Estimated 1/4 mile - 71 Roadrunner 340 4 speed

The drop in strokers will cost you more..it just depends on your budget. Overall it's hard to beat a 500+ engine for a fun&fast driver. Internally balanced rules out a cast crank, and would not make sense since you have a flywheel. A oem 440 steel crank is fine if you can find one. H beam rods...

Cannot Remove Brake Pushrod From Rear Piston

^^^ The only thing holding the piston in on a manual master is a little tab screwed in place. Not gonna hold a stuck rod... just gonna bend out of the way.

    66-67 Plymouth firewall

Read the description. Says 66 to 70 and then the description states fits 68 to 70. That's what he's asking about. I'll stare at a couple of mine today if I get the chance and see if there's anything notable between a '66 and '70

I completely understand working with what you have. Others with more experience will chime in. Myself , if i was going to buy pistons I would get a set for the low compression 440 and do the head work to it also ( prob 452s) ? With that cam and a decent gear should be a good starting point.

    Estimated 1/4 mile - 71 Roadrunner 340 4 speed

Would you run aftermarket rods or crank? I'd like to go internal balance, it's what I know and it sounds more simple. But, if I am getting another rotating assembly should i just go to a stroker kit. If its a choice, I'd like to get a rotating assembly that's balanced already, to not to put too...
