You likely are correct, bang for buck, Oem is best deal. Performance wise not so much. Regardless, the ultimate goal is stopping one's car. and brakes only stop the wheels, tires stop the car, and are often most likely stopping determining factor.
I do Omni primers and PPG (Deltron) base and clear. My jobber said they are certainly compatible. No problems here.
I have used the Omni for years and love it. As expensive as this **** is these days why dump allot of money into a material that mostly ends up blocked off on to the floor.
I ran brake torque numbers on every combo from stock 11" to the 11.75" a couple 13" setups, and up to the 14" 4 piston Wilwood. The winner... the factory 11.75" setup. Now I realize that for racing there are heat management and pedal feel issues, but for a performance street car, I can't see...
Thanks. I might try the 2005-2008 Dodge Ram 5.7 MANUAL transmission starter. I just put on a reman old whiney 3258 and it's iffy (sometimes click no turn). I like the old stuff, but I can't be sitting there clicking either. Haven't decided what to do yet.

Yep, slowly converting over here too as my fluorescents start to fail. Much brighter and last longer too.
I must say however, I put the fluorescents in when I built the shop 14 years ago and they are now just starting to fail. Pretty good run.
Trying to determine where these clips go for the fuel line from the tank to engine (Orange circle). I bought a "kit" and came with these. The Service book is void of information for the body fuel line. I understand where the other "pop in" clips go and are no issue. Just these. Also the screws...
Mounts are different. You also will need the BB water pump housing and pump, Oil pan, dipstick and tube. Your clutch might not be up to 500 plus hp. Start your list it will add up quick.
