I have the Tru-Trac they do wind up sometimes after long drives then make a slight crunching noise when turning as they unload as they have no clutch to slip same wilwood disc set up .
You need a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooot more timing at idle, probably about 40*. Your specs are similar to a 440 I set up last year; it idles with 42*. That was achieved by using manifold connected vac adv. Engine will never run good as it can until it gets the timing it needs.
I have factory non-rally tach in 1968 GTX, trying to figure out the wiring. Believe that Dark Blue wire connects to the terminal on the left (12V power from the fuse box?), and the other stud on the right (with the black plastic cover threaded on) receives the Grey wire for the tach signal...
the car is a turd he paid $40,000 to much for it. I looked it over. It was hit real hard drivers side front. Inner fender was 1/4 thick of filler. A lot more issues
