First, thanks for the reply! I believe all is original here (wiper motor/ harness/ switch), the original owner had unplugged the motor saying it must have a short because it was drawing the battery down, I tried a replacement unit with same results, they both operate without the accessory on...

Hate to say it , but couldn't find one at local Mopar dealer, used one from mid 90's GM column with a little cut off to size, worked perfect.
