Not to hijack the thread but to add to the the discussion based on what I have seen.
No 1967 car would have the reverse indicator light (Inland shifter).
All 1969 4-speed cars would have the reverse indicator light (Hurst shifter).
1968 cars with an Inland shifter would not have the light as...

That's a great offer and I'll let you know. I saw one on ebay awhile back before I got the car. I should have snagged it. Here is a pic, the dash is pretty nasty.
i am in the market for a set of 14x5.5 steel rims and dog dish caps that would be correct for a 1968 GTX. I believe they are the smaller 9” caps rather than the larger 10” caps.
