Bear in mind that a 295/50 will be almost a half inch shorter than a 255/60. A 295 will stand up a little on an 8" rim but on a 10" it will be noticeably shorter than a 255/60 on an 8" rim.

It does (or at least used to) come in a few shades. Black, white, gray, red maybe? I switched to Raptor a few years ago, it's tintable or available in several different colors which you can also blend yourself. It lays out really nicely even with crappy shop air and a cheap suction siphon gun.

As the front end comes up you'll get more positive caster as a side benefit. That should help handling all around. The steering will come back to center easier with a narrower (but longer) contact patch as well.

This is why: The number is stamped off center on the VIN tag. That, and the "hidden" body number on the core support is stamped "9G304552" instead of "9G104552."
