Funny my FSM shows the wiring. People have a hard time following the FSM. The problem is understanding whats going on between the automatic and manual transmissions. The auto the switch is on the shift linkage in the car and the manual is on the transmission.
Depending on what type of distributor you're using you can get an fbo limiter plate and have more initial without going over about 36° all-in. I use the 18° slot for mechanical and 18° inital.
Don’t cap it! It won’t last and will look funky, bite the bullet and pull the pad. You WILL like the final product as it will be soft and pliable and look and feel nice — like new
My current dash had lots of cracks in it. Until I can replace it I’m going to use a cover. When I googled it came back with two results…one for a cap and one for a cover (pictures below). Any idea what the differences are? Just what it covers...
These are available at stupid prices. What is your reason for fixing this? The HP number was 2808446 and the non-HP number was 2585531. The only difference is the flapper size. So if your flapper is good the non-HP kit will work.
I used Easy Off for the grill trim on my '68 Charger. I cleaned it up with a Scotch Brite and then sent it out with the rest of the trim and had it polished
I bet it is comfortable. Nothing smacks more of a tired old F@ck is driving this car, at a show, than a lumbar support devise strapped to the seat. :lol:
Something hella manly about hammering around in a true muscle car that's not comfortable.
