The factory/line that was shut down, was in Ohio IIRC probably using Canadian/Ontario parts suppliers, we don't make anything anymore especially not in Detroit maybe have some built in Mexico probably with Chinese parts, that's marked as Made in Mexico too

Short story - talked to Dan at Brewers and he feels confident the retaining spring on the clutch fork is worn/bad, he said it should hold the fork to it and mine does not, see photo below of fork on stock bell with stock pivot with bellhousing sitting face down on a table. New fork is on order...

You're in the UK so, you also need a big block transmission to mate to the 400 with matching torq convertor, trans Kick down linkage, the big block brackets for power steering pump, alternator radiator etc. What we used to do 30 years ago was find a rusty big Chrysler and just pull everything...

Hi Doug. Cam is a 31-2177. Total duration 253. This is the Edelbrock Performer cam that they suggested. Made by Comp Cams. I have the 41-1507 lifters and the cam gears and chain. Edelbrock said use 5877 for non rotate, and 5977 for rotating. With a note that said do not use dual springs which is...
