Anyone got a go-by on removal. I’ve spent too much time under my dash lately replacing the master cylinder and pulling/replacing the steering column.

We've been a master WD dealer for over 30 years with Comp Cams, ever since they sold to Edelbrock group it has been nothing but pure ****, from service to quality. We received a BBC belt drive last week that was ordered in August of 2023, so they're saying as we couldn't find a P.O. ever issued...

Probably just pulled to tight when mounted. I suspect the mounting points are close to the bend.

I’m going to keep the original body lines as they are.

The reason to remove it with a diaphragm clutch, is that there is very little return pressure when the pedal is all the way down. It can get stuck on the floor and that’s not good.

I’ve heard it said a number of times that the under dash spring should be removed if using a diaphragm clutch, but I’m not sure what this accomplishes unless it removes the hitch or over-center point near the top of pedal travel? I don’t really need a lighter pedal if that’s the only purpose...

This is why I don't do roofs anymore, don't want to pull a Chick Hearn and be down for the count while I'm in the refrigerator, the door's closed, the lights are out, the eggs are coolin' and the butters' gettin' hard !! Wife gets a little irritated, no more X-Mas lights on the house up high...

I had to use an adapter for the front line.. but the system had been hacked up with one of those shitty Chinese power brake kits , so I can't confirm what was original
