I did my dash with a cap a few years ago. I ended up taking a lot of time trimming, a little heat and more than the glue they give you to get it to turn out decent. The dash was out of the car so I could use many clamps and many pieces of wood to clamp it down here's the results in my 74 Rallye...
A Coronet will only have a Std cluster, and the SuperBee and RT will have the Rally cluster. Not sure if a std Coronet could be ordered with a rally cluster as it usually would be std.
Hello all looking for some input on dash cap options.
I am going to install one on my 72 charger.
I have found 3 option to pick form,
Dashcap
Coverlay
Accufoam.
There is a thread on here where someone installed Dashcap. It looks great in the pictures by the way very nice job.
What I'm asking...
I would like to clear up something. Is there nothing under the W1- W2 heading for a bezel at all, or is there one, but it does not mention R/T in the description?
Factory parts manuals are not always 100% accurate. They can sometimes be confusing with their discriptions, but they can also also leave out things. My 69 parts manual came from a dealership, and there are arrows and notations etc. all over it.
Thank you. Do you know (and I looked, but found nothing definitive) are 1962-65 assemblies different than 66? I think I have a '65, but need a '66 for Charger
They gave a bunch of tests.. he’s 69. He’s been in the hospital for a bike accident, appendix about to burst and now this.. he said he thought he’d die by cancer-they did to many clinical tests for him to have any other serious problems like cancer hopefully..
Cranky I apologize for posting this in a car forum. Dad had his byPass Surgery and made it through it. We found out just in time before a widowmaker happened-his left side of his heart was 100 percent blockage,he had 20 percent injection factor(blood pump into the body I guess).
He got through...
