    Ok, Now. Ck near the oil pressure switch for a stamped number - For a 1968 model car application Or along pass side oil pan , right behind the pass side motor mount. For a 1969 and later model car application If there are numbers at either location. Its a 68 or newer engine

    But I guess the opening size must be measured at the socket groove (underside the lip)? Outer diameter should be of course bigger than the hole at the housing. Just thinking out loud. But is true, still is larger than I expected

    Looks great and I've made a few bracket before. I always moved my batteries to the back, a room thing and on one, I just mounted the shut off directly on the box.
