Recently found a 1966 Charger donar car I'm thinking of purchasing. It has a running 318 wide block in it that I probably won't have a need for. Does anyone have an idea what its value is and the most likely application?
I'm trying to find out if a 318 and 360 flywheels are interchangeable? Also wondering what a running 318 Poly (wide block) is worth and does it match up to the small block or big block 727?
Thanks
In the beginning stages of implanting a 392 into a 67 Charger. I am trying to get a game plan together to avoid costly mistakes and loss of time. I believe I will have to move the motor mount position on the kmember, is this true and is there any suggestions?
I'm working on a 1966 Coronet and not sure what has been done before. I do know an a-body p/s gearbox was installed and it has a 1978 440. I believe the 78 exhaust manifold is not compatible with the steering. Any info is greatly appreciated.
The engine is a 1978 440 with casting number 4006630-440-4. I assume the exhaust manifolds are the same vintage. The p/s gearbox is from an a-body but looked identical to the old one.
The seal end of the coupler is so close to the exhaust manifold it cannot rotate without hitting. The car is new to me and not sure what has been previously done. Could a wrong p/s box, or incorrect exhaust manifold be the blame? I'm real sure it has the correct coupler and have checked...
