The bathroom itself is level (as is the flange). The floor drops that inch in the first 22 inches from the wall, and levels out. More like a flat floor that ramps up at the exterior wall end, if you will. It isn't the floor that's out of level, it's the joists - and no, I'm not going to shave...
PhantomX. I think you hit on something by masquerading with the black color bordering with the orange. Here's the 6 quart steel pan looking like a low hanging Mango fruit.
In fact now that I come to think about it, black is used on the new Challengers lower halves to hide the fact that they have...
I see it's been a while.. Good News! More chunks of wood. Some may be old and important.
Also; looks like a shitter from the 1800s has the possibility of being an inground vault. Progress.
You mean the very bottom few inches of pan to be painted semi gloss black and then the rest from there on up in Hemi orange to give the illusion that it is a factory stock 4 quart pan? Hhhhmmmmm. interesting indeed. I love it. Thanks.
My 72 satellite has an interior hood release. Just a cable under the dash attached to the latch, like the big external handle but smaller so you can't just grab it from the outside. Get a choke cable kit, cut down the exterior handle, drill a hole, mount the cable and go.
You could always put...
Is the toilet flange level or does it follow the floor? I think id be tempted to fix all rotten flooring with layer of plywood then concrete board then finish the entire floor. If you try to level 1 portion and not the other you will have an unsightly bump or recession somewhere. Can you jack up...
You could paint the bottom 2-3 inches of the sump the same black that’s on your k member so it disappears under the car instead of looking like a neon sign hanging down.
Travis..
Our 72 cars have the saginaw. It is a improvement in terms of feel and a more common pump. But, if your after a original look..the saginaw looks different.
I would say natural steel, no plating on
Spindle nut and washer
Brake adjuster star?
Cadmium on
Lug nuts
This is my call, see what others say. The other two, not sure which parts you mean.
That link is for a larger TRW. Easy way to tell is the hex hole in the shaft. The big TRW front bracket will bolt on your smaller pump but the back mount has to be modified to work. Which is what I did on one car. But the saginaw is different. Trw I have seen called Thompson.
I would just embrace the shine of the repro’s spokes imo. I don’t know this for a fact but if they’re chrome cladded and then you start scuffing them to dull them a bit, you could perhaps peel the cladding off.
