Rope it is . I’d like to use the same 3m bedding and glazing but don’t understand how that can work. The rope will pull out the sealant and make a mess. If I put a bead on the window channel and lay the windshield and gasket on it , that would also make a huge mess. Any tips or tricks?

I just got done installing the "new" reproduction window division channel on my passenger door. Couldn't be happier, nice fit, glass is slides up and down real nice.

I put AMD door and quarter glass in a 68 Plymouth Satellite and it fit just like original. No issues

Found it , there is a phillips screw on outside of door window frame across from top pivot / hinge , took off rubber out side seal and there it was , was looking inside top frame and channel for screw , don't show this in FSM .
