My 67 Coronet has a 383 2 barrel and the original points-type distributor. It runs fine until it reaches operating temperature then it starts missing like it's running out of gas, or the fire is breaking down. Any ideas what's going on with my ride? Thanks.

I checked the right front of the car. Removed the right front wheel, and guess what? One upper control arm bushing is gone. I guess the sound was traveling through the chassis. Thank for the great advice!

I pulled the 742 case with 2:94 gears out and replaced it. I also had new bearings and seals installed. I jacked the car up with both wheels off...

Yup!

It turned out to be a condenser that bolted to the intake and the wire ran to the + side of the coil. I replaced it and it fired right up.
