I was smart enough to wait until I was 18 ya right. Smoke in the morning and evening, dipped Copenhagen at work. I quit shortly after Dad passed, stroke not entirely smoking related but definitely contributing factor to his death. I guess I was 30yrs it was hot summer day I split out a dip...
"Broken in".
I blow out the left knee in all mine. I'm 6'4", everything is too damned short in this world, and my right leg doesn't bend as well as the left due to surgeries and implants...so when I need to do something down low, I'm on my left knee.
When you removed the choke, did you block the air hole? I got a carb a rebuilder was selling. He did a nice job on the 3310, expect up he didn’t block that hold up around the air horn and that caused a MASSIVE vacuum leak. Weird idling. Etc. I simply screwed a small self taper in it that had a...
My uncle was a renowned surgeon. So was my grandfather. Never met granddad but my uncle always said "yeah...I know, but dammit it makes me happy so leave me alone".
Guess what killed him?
The left hand bit idea is good. I’d try more and different penetrating oil. You’ll laugh, but Prolong is nasty stuff to put in your engine. However, it’s a great caustic penetrating oil. Try Amazon for a spray can. Can you spray the backside?
Backwards. VP is higher today, meaning more volatile fuel. The pressure pushing outward is what happens when fuel is less stabil.
Race gas for instance is 6psi. Unleaded at the pump is like 8-9 summer and 12-14psi winter. Something like those pump numbers anyway.
Yes you can do it if you don't care about the hood. You have to get the cherry picker arm right down on the engine and then scrape the top of the arm across the bottom of the hood as you try and get the engine out typically with someone else pushing up on the hood at the same time.

They make a dual core speaker for the stock location. Smelectro has it. Other than that, it’s adapter time. Various ones around. I’m assuming you are ditching the stock am. It will fry the transistor if you run a 4 ohm in place of the 8 or whatever oem was.
Shorter spacer.... I've used over a dozen #4700 kits... I use the 69-71 brackets, they are easier to find... You have the 68 & earlier, use it... Just gotta have the right water pump, drivers outlet, there are two versions.. Early water pumps have the bolt boss below the thermostat these take...
If you have a 68 R/T an original carb would be a 4429 for an automatic. 4428 for 4 spd. All of the AVS's I've seen had the short brass screws behind the plugs. What number carb do you have?
Hood off and jack the *** of the car way up. It makes sliding the engine and trans out super easy if you are pulling the trans too. The nose on the 71 and up is super long and hard for the hoist I have to get to the center of the block. I jacked up the rear of the car super high and engine and...
I have one neighbor who smokes, just turned 40, his wife died three years ago of cancer, Doctor said smoking was a contributing factor.... Every morning I hear this guy hacking up a lung... He just doesn't seem to be able to connect the dots....
My family travelled around the world in a closed...
Reminds me of the fuel tank in my wagon. Ma Mopar was smart and put it in the driver's quarter panel behind the rear wheel, like a suitcase. Everything the tire kicks up... PLINK, right into the bottom of the tank.
In college (early 90s), I patched a bunch of pinholes with JB weld.
It...
