Awesome car! Keep at it… I’m doing the same. I don’t understand replicating sloppy assembly line graffiti, but to each his own. My Charger and wagon both have paint hangers (runs) on the firewall and there’s no way I’d want to copy that.

What’s the newest? What are you guys using recently?
I’ve done a few 70’s type external 5 pin (4 on the later) conversions. And while they work good, it’s a lot of wiring and installation work. Are the HEI kits any good? Thanks!
It only takes two guys that want something to jack the price. Probably just a bad day. There’s also a big difference between the 1st and 2nd gen as far as interest from non Mopar guys. A 440 ‘68-‘70 would probably have gone higher.

My Charger and ‘Cuda didn’t have them when I bought the cars back in the 80’s. I just adjusted the idle speed to 750 RPM. Chrysler set the idle at 1000 RPM on the 440 Six Pack for lower emissions at idle speed. But it was so high the engines would diesel sometimes. So the solenoid held it there...
