An alternative: if you're planning on also updating the suspension, drop the engine/trans from below, still on the K-frame.
I just did the drop on my Dart as I'm updating the suspension and replacing the clutch and pressure plate while rebuilding the engine.

I have the fiberglass 6 pack hood from AAR Fiberglass with hinges and front hood pins. It's just as convenient as a steel hood. Just don't forget to reinstall the hood pins! One time I forgot and got up to about 5 mph when the hood started shaking, thankfully I shut it down in time...
It's is blast driving around WS, but we're skipping it this year. It's not a real fun day for Maria, hanging out in pit row where it's cold and windy. And we took two long vacations last year so her PTO balance is near depleted.
BTW, we're also going to Carlisle in July. Going to be bunking...
