For Sale: Not Mine Might be a good deal for Charger fans

My numbers 68 RT had that side trim, couldn't find any info anywhere that it was a factory option, mine was double sided taped with rivet holes. Car had 1 repaint looked to be put on at that time.

Did you buy it? Or were these the sellers pics?
Sellers pics. What do you think?
Says it ran but the starter died, needs a fuel tank, sending unit, straps etc.
Guy is legit with other chargers and mopars, seems like it's been a life long affliction!

What in the floppity-flop is going on with those leaf springs?

those are helper springs added on....

It's honestly not in THAT BAD of shape.. but i'm from michigan so i'm amazed to see solid framerails even :) Being a '68 it's easily the most desirable charger (only year worth owning as far as i'm concerned..) But 30k is INSANE.... sadly the reality is someone will end up paying him 20-22k for it.. Chargers are a sellers market and someone eventually will pay whatever is asked.

If you buy it get ready to empty the saving account, you will be dumping at least 40 if you do most of the work yourself. without any major metal work JMO

Unless you wanna just get it running and drivable to beat the piss out of it and enjoy.. 10-15k :) I kinda like it all beat up...

100% I just want a driver.
Something I can park at the grocery and not worry about people door-dinging my precious.
To tinker on and enjoy, I'm not interested in a full resto.

But the more I look the more a "finished" car at 60K makes sense.
And then I read that again and I think I've lost my freakin mind. LOL

One like this just sold here for $27K no title, no keys! But it was complete otherwise.

I'm going to try and do a video call with the guy and see what i can see.
Wish me luck! I'm not smart enough to stop!

look at 63-65 B-bodies or a C-body.. c-bodies are awesome and you can get insanely clean ones for under 10k still (like a '64 imperial for example) '68 charger is about the highest starting price and highest price to put together...

Lake Orion! Go Dragons! Been a while since I froze there though!

Well If I buy it I'll drive it over and have some beers how about that?
That pic was of the dude picking it up I think.

Right now, I'm still kinda looking for an actual running driving car. There's one up near Sac I'm hoping to check out.
When I saw the tow truck I thought you bought it, just a joke. Sounds like he makes a living flipping Chargers

You have to make up your own mind on this. For me I ended up buying my Viper instead, mint, no work needed, shiny, working A/C etc. and it was in the $45kUSA range when I bought it. An old car will never make sense, you just have to like it enough to spend the cash. I enjoy driving my cars and it made sense even 20 years ago but makes less sense each year. However that's just me, everyone has different things they get out of it. Nowadays I get more enjoyment building an old car and less driving them, which is reverse of what it used to be.
