On my 1970 Road Runner with A/C I can't find where in the service manual it shows the vacuum line routing to the A/C canister under the battery. I believe one of the ports on the canister runs up to the firewall goes through the plug on the firewall by the water valve where the vacuum hose comes...
My dad likely has the tools but does that 2nd outer ring (the more yellowish one) also come out together with it? Or do I need to do something else to get that one out?
That must be a misprint. 7,044,328 gallons of fuel would weigh more than that tugs' gross weight of 580 tons. In comparison, a railway locomotive usually carries around 3,500 gallons.
Ok so I marked them in the picture as 1 and 2. my dad says he can remove 1. But how does he remove #2. The outter ring one. Same way you just mentioned? Or is that officially part of the crank?

If it is ARP moly lube you can wash it off with brake clean or carb clean. You will have to rinse them and blow dry the bolts and the crank holes several times until perfectly clean. Blue loctite on the bolt threads and torque to specs.
It's alive for the 1st time since 1989....I just had it running being bottle fed. Now I can work on the fuel delivery, vacuum systems and cooling. The search is on for a factory service and parts manual
