I am not far away from installing my heater / ac box that was restored (well over a year ago now). Controls and other parts restored as will. Problem is, while I marked each one when I removed it the marks disappeared during the restoration (not by me, professionally done with new heater core, evaporator, etc). Anyway, I could probably look at some old pics and try to figure it out but was hoping someone could weigh in with some help, and also guidance in testing it all before it goes in the car. I have a hand held vacuum pump on the ready etc. I do not want to install in the car until I can test things as much as possible. Pic of the restored box attached. TIA

Actually I posted something similar last September and got some information. I apologize for the duplication but do not know how to delete this.... On the other hand any additional info or advice is welcome.

Once again the factory service manual shows vacuum diagrams for this AC box.

On my 1970 Road Runner with A/C I can't find where in the service manual it shows the vacuum line routing to the A/C canister under the battery. I believe one of the ports on the canister runs up to the firewall goes through the plug on the firewall by the water valve where the vacuum hose comes out and connects to the intake. Where does the other port on the canister connect?
