Update: I got fed up with messing with the red hei big cap dizzy.
I have a new coil.
New ignition control module (GM 4 post)
Factory mopar dizzy with a new pickup.
I followed every step from the picture..
I have the brown cranking wire (balast removed)...
I marked where the old dizzy's rotor was pointing as a guide, as well as the base of the dizzy to keep it close, i will be retiming it though.
Removed the old dizzy, stabbed the new, got all the marks lined up and rotor facing the same direction.
I've got the correct pigtail for the HEI...
I've searched.. Here and google. Evidently I'm not smart enough to do this, so will somebody please excuse my ignorance while explaining how to convert my 1974 charger 318 car to HEI.. I'm sure that's been worn out here but I'm telling ya.. This is wearing me out.
