Just bought a Lifepo4 batt for my Sportster.
The AGM battery that was in it is literally 3 years old this past summer when it started not holding a charge.
Not too happy about that.
The lithium batt was $113 vs between $59 and $89 depending on the brand for a traditional or replacement AGM...
Nice to have a piece of history! I've saved a few things over the years that I received from work or that my dad got from work. I still have tie clips, ashtray, cups, mugs and license plates. My father had the good guys white hat and jacket. I gave most of it away years ago.
Pretty sure they all use a round cross-section o-ring but that’s just my observation of rebuilding the similar Federal pump. An o-ring that has been in there a long time and got hard will look almost rectangular when removed.
A good one like that is in South Carolina, my family are there. It goes like this, if the person wants something you have in your hand they’ll say “let me hold that”. Confused me for a bit.
