    64 Dodge only

I don't think I have. Those Canadian 440 tail light assemblies were originally going to be the U.S. Polara tail lights. Only the Polara 500's were to be equipped with the big base plate eventually used on the Polara. By production time, things changed.

Anyone remember this hemi roadrunner drag car from Long Island New York area?

My cousin gave me this 1969 Hemi Roadrunner last June. He got it from the Long Island area. He was told the car when new was a Plymouth dealership's drag car on Long Island. Does anyone remember it?

    Rear fender mud flaps

Were to get gravel or mud flaps for 69 Plymouth roadrunner. Would like something like chrome or stainless steel. Or maybe I can get something in a black that I could paint. Starting to see chips on wheel opening to the back on the rear quarters. Don't like it and trying to find an answer. Thanks...

Park lights and dash lights turn on when pressing brake pedal

Take all the bulbs for the front and rear park and turn signals. Fix one at a time. My bets you have one rear socket messed up and possibly a bad turn signal switch.

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Clean the car up....don't try and alter it too much apart from getting it driveable. Taking it to Carlisle this year would be a solid move and give you a greater chance of getting some history on the car. Chances are that some old timer will see the car and have a flood of memories that will...

This shifter was with the car. Currently has a B&M installed. I think this Hurst is probably correct for 1969.

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Yep I wish it was a original car still. If the story is true about it being a dealership's drag car from day 2 then it's not as bad

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

I would leave the car as it is....probably worth more than to try and rebuild with all new parts. The history if ever found will only add to that value. Nice score of getting it for free.

    Broken booster check valve

As luck would have it I broke the nipple off the bendix brake booster check valve. Looks like an odd ball check valve, 3 alignment tabs on the underside, twists to lock in. No rubber grommet. Is there anyway to retrofit the more commonly available large diameter bendix check valve?
