Cali Gas Tank in a non-Cali Car

Yeah, I had the same with a cali tank on a 72 B. I ended up using only one vent line open to the atmosphere. Like the old cars.

    Hurst shifter - long throw

To follow up on this I ordered a Hurst installation kit with rods, swivels and transmission levers. After further investigation I discovered the bolt I was seeing up inside the hump in the tunnel was not a shift stop bolt. The Hurst shifters that Brewers converts are rebuilt OEM Hurst shifters...

    Hood pin clip variants

I like the ones that the circle stands up. Any pin ends up scratching the paint if not careful when removing..

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Yes wait for warm weather. Still wash up the interior. Clean is clean. The car was obviously made to be on the strip at some point, and retro race car can look cool, but not a filthy one, that includes inside.

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Already put the left tail light in. Was sitting in the trunk. Fenders on the car are fiberglass.

Low Profile Intake on 440 in 1966 Coronet

This was my thought too. I’d say something less that 230 degrees if your going hydraulic. The better you make the heads the faster the car will be, everywhere. Don’t skimp there, and if you have some extra coin, that’s where you should put it.

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Grime on it is from my cousin's coal furnace. Hesitant to wash the car till we get some warmer weather. Supposed to be in the 70's next week. As far as the interior it only has some 80's looking bucket seats. No carpet, door panels are aluminum sheet metal, same with the dash and rear seat area...

    Classic car prices !

Chevelle boys and Ford guys are going to watch their rides go to the entry level price range, because no matter how rare they claim it to be they made hundreds of thousands of those things back then. Younger GM boys like Camaros and G body cars. Younger Ferd owners want a modern Mustang and...

My cousin gave me a 69 hemi roadrunner

Clean it up. Put in a left taillight. Check all electricals from the bulkhead out to all systems. Check brake system from MC out & flush/bleed new brake fluid. Check steering & suspension from steering wheel out to the wheels. Replace with new tires. Safety is the key. Change oil, fluids, and...

Who has replaced a power steering box in a Hemi car with stock manifolds???

Well, after the holidays, a vacation, Covid and the addition of a partial brake system overhaul due to a leaking master cylinder on my 66 Hemi, the power steering conversion is essentially complete. What a difference verses muscling this thing into my garage with a 3-pt, 90 degree turn. Only...

    Classic car prices !

I have not bought any of my cars in anticipation of making money on them. I buy them for the nostalgia and memories that they revive. Sure most have appreciated in value, but there are also costs involved in improvements and maintenance. They provide fun for me, by driving and maintaining them...

    AC or No AC

My old tired ride does not seem to have cooling side affects. Just like the clutch-cycling. That minor bump is in no way negative to the idle of a torquey 440. AC is a must. Classic Auto Air.

WTB WTB Front Bench Seat (with headrests) for a 1969 coronet

Looking for a front bench seat for my 69 Coronet. Really just need the frame but if it’s already covered, that is fine. Would love to have one with headrests similar to picture. Thank you. Bonus if it has a fold down armrest similar to second picture.
