    Budget conscious Performance Upgrades

My pistons are .125-.127 in the hole so the increase would be there but not as much. Might make good paperweights from the sounds of it

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I believe the last one I took apart was about .055 down. Not far off a six pack piston

Wiring an old Stewart Warner green line tach.

Not likely to happen......the tach will work ....or.....not. S&W would have designed a circuit to prevent damage to the unit if wired incorrectly..........just my opinion......btw a bottle of instrument panel smoke is similar to a bucket of prop wash......or a fart in a wind storm...

    Another LED Light Bulb Question

So I bought the above awhile back and am just now getting around to the install. I ordered 2 off of Amazon in the same order and I am just now noticing one of them came with a ground wire and the other is identical to the one pictured on the Amazon order without a ground wire. The car is at...

    727 differences between D and 1 from a stop

True... but I think it's more plausible that it may occur with a street crowd than a racing crowd. Most people racing would be applying 1st gear. I don't recall witnessing one. But they don't make the billet drum for no good reason. After 30yrs of good fortune, I think the next 727 build will...

    Budget conscious Performance Upgrades

You could always mill .100” off the 906’s. Thats the cheapest way to raise your compression a point. I did it and knocked a second off my 1/4 mile times. Now, I don’t recommend it because it throws all other kind of stuff out of whack. But since you don’t seem interested in really good...

New member from Parksville, British Columbia

It depends. The newer stuff does have more of a failure rate than the old, US production stuff. In the future, I'll be putting an OE distributor in with an HEI module conversion. Mopar boxes have problems too unless you get an old one. Like the MSD stuff.

    Manual drums

I would replace all of the flexible brake hoses and add a power brake booster and appropriate Master cylinder. New brake fluid too! Automatic adjusters won't make you stop any better.

    Why do men like gun/cars?

I think in all reality, is that they are both something that screams to be mastered. The car guy is constantly learning and improving their skills. The gun guy is exactly the same. They both are striving to reach that pinnacle of mastery. So, many tiny things can throw you off, but you just keep...
