how hard would it be to fit a 71,72 Plymouth satellite front bumper on a 73?

10 years ago I sold some 1971 Satellite fenders. They are not reproduced so they don’t come cheap. Back then I got $500 each for them.

Swapping a tilt steering column into a 1970 Charger

You need a service manual for your car and what the column came out of. The wiring diagrams should show you what wires need to go where.

Can a High Volume oil pump suck the floor up?

It does make sense that if you have less oil to utilize it becomes more important to access as much of it as you can. But, when you are adding a couple quart of capacity to the pan...that is a huge gain in the available oil. You certainly could do a minimum spec on the pickup on a deep pan. But...

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I use a Qidi Q1, it does high temp filaments and has great print quality, I have over 500hrs of mostly trouble free printing. I use it to make custom fender tags and I'm working on a new product, '70 Rallye wheel center caps that weigh 1/3. The initial design work is done, just finalizing some...

Wiring an old Stewart Warner green line tach.

The small gold assembly attached to the meter terminals is the sender for this Stewart Warner tachometer. The early 60s and earlier electric tachometers of this style used either a remote sender unit or the small meter attached sender unit. Sun and Autometer operated similarly. The sender units...

Swapping a tilt steering column into a 1970 Charger

So if you hook your ohmmeter to the red wire and with the switch on you should have continuity with the 14ga DBL wire which is run. If you put the switch to start the 14ga Y and 14ga BR wire should have continuity for start to the start relay and ignition during start. It appears the 14ga BK...

how hard would it be to fit a 71,72 Plymouth satellite front bumper on a 73?

I don't think the 73/74 bumper looks bad at all I simply just like the smooth look of the 71/72 more. I'll try to get some measurements but if it ends up being to much work I'll definitely just stick to the factory bumper.

how hard would it be to fit a 71,72 Plymouth satellite front bumper on a 73?

The hoods will bolt on, but the front edge is different. the 71/72 is basically flat (straight) but the 73/74 has a 'bump' because of the body line going back from the headlights.

Swapping a tilt steering column into a 1970 Charger

As I recall the FSM was not very good when it came to the tilt wiring. Its like all they covered was the standard mopar column. I also believe 75-77 was pretty close to the same and 78 and newer had some differences.
