The ISS Will Be Destroyed in 2030

Yep, NASA mentioned that last summer. Nothing lasts forever. The actual de-orbit is the responsibility of all five space agencies involved. Twenty-four years so far is pretty good.

    Trunk popper

I bought the same thing on eBay, probably over 20 years ago when the wrecking yards had lots of them.

    Hot running 440 60" over

Post #43. Higher compression on it's own reduces heat. The a/f mixture takes longer to burn with low compression engines, so the surrounding metal absorbs more heat during the combustion process.

How to tell if a transmission has a shift kit in it?

OK, I bought a core 727 and Im going to rebuild it myself. BUT how can one tell if it has been kitted before? I don't necessarily want a shift kit, but I need to know. I know kits go into the valve body so any telltale signs would be there, but it would only be a hole drilled through the plate...

    Vintage garage stuff

The bottle of LX-521 additive tickles my funny bone. The first thing that I find a little odd is the amateurish label. The claimed 10% to 30% increased gasoline mileage is a little hard to swallow. Then there is the mixing ratio. 1 tablespoon for 15 gallons of gas. Wow! This stuff sure must be...
