    If you can spend, on average, few hours per day, 6 months is a good estimate for reassembly. Keep in mind that I had everything cleaned up and most all parts sourced and ready to go months in advance of the car coming home.

    That’s got to be the same car. What are the chances that two exactly equipped export barn find cars exist half a world apart? The owner in Austria in the eBay ad said he bought it in 2018, which is when this was sold.

    Yes, I believe that I did ask that question in my Roach thread. I was told that it was some sort of impact protection thing just on 1970's to keep the gas tank from sliding over to the right side frame rail. I guess if it wasn't there & the tank moved upon impact, the filler tube could pop out...
