You guys think that's bad...I used to have a coworker who would bring a tin of sardines for lunch and start snacking on them...plucking them out one-by-one and slurping them down. The smell was gawdawful.
This post will serve as a comparison of Canadian1968's custom hood signal lenses for the '70 Charger and some repro units I bought several years ago. I wish I could remember the maker of the repros but I believe they're the ones commonly available on eBay. The difference in quality is...
I did a dual exhaust, 2 bbl-to-4 bbl intake manifold and carb upgrade on a 1968 Monaco 318 winter beater I had, and it definitely made a fun difference! I don't think headers are worth the bother, either.
Nice to see the price came down from the stratosphere, but I actually dig the gold. At least it's different. I'm not digging the SE plug or wheels, that goes without saying though. :)
I'm in the process of replacing those myself. One detail to note, in addition to the flat rubber C-shaped "fender shield gasket" at the top, there's another mostly straight piece with a half-dozen or so press-in clips that attach to the outer curved edge of the metal splash shield, where it...
I'd rather see plain steel wheels than any form of dog dish...and I'd rather see a period-themed mag wheel design more than any steel wheels. But if you're gonna force me to choose, the bottom-right dish with the fratzog would be the best of the worst. :)
When the sidewall rubber is that thin, you'd hardly see the white letters anyway...as has been said, unless you're going for a resto-mod, I wouldn't go higher than 15". 16" would be cool but that's very hard to find. Those wheels on the yellow Charger kind of make it look like a Hot Wheels toy, IMO.
I don't know if you'll find that specific item, but I'm thinking a nail with a flat head and correct diameter would slip through, and you could cut off the pointy end and mash it a bit in a vise to keep it secured...
Going back to the valuation...since both our cars are virtually identical regarding specs, other than A/C...both with 383 Magnums that the original buyers must've chosen all the hi-performance options with the exception of the 440 engine...before my Charger 500 went to the body shop for body &...
Agreed with everything. One reason I like Saga even more than Rush is their songs tend to be more concise and pointed, and less meandering to purely showcase technical ability, if that makes sense. One of my other favorite bands is Marillion (called "neo-prog" by some). I love story-telling and...
That's good stuff, and quite sad. I'm a big fan of Canada's other prog rock band, Saga. Everybody knows Rush but almost nobody knows Saga. Even prog rock music channels almost never play anything from Saga, it's a sacrilege. Anyway, the number of chord changes in "Wind Him Up" are incredible...
