    New torsion bar bolts?

    You need a deep socket.

    New torsion bar bolts?

That bolt screws into a square plate that can be moved around a bit. If you jack the car up so the wheels are off the ground to take some of the pressure off that bolt you may be able to lever it over enough so you can get a socket on.

    1968 Plymouth GTX

They would have been rare, like the factory head rests on Baby Blue. When Bob owned the car before me, he stuck them in the trunk, and taped over the openings in the bases. I put them back in place. When I got the car back in 2013, the headrests had been restored by the guy who used to own my...

    1969 Charger armrest bases

All I can suggest right now is that you buy them from Peter Gee at PG Classics in Ottawa, or from Nigel at National Moparts in Gamebridge, so there are no surprises at what they are costing you! I just got nailed for a $51 part coming across from Illinois.

    1969 Charger armrest bases

I'm replacing the chromed plastic armrest bases (front and rear) in my car. There seem to be several different options for sources. Are there any recommendations, or any that I should avoid? Thanks!

My 66 Satellite street car project

I think later model 5.9’s took care of that, if not, it’s easy to make a tab to cover it and no more worries.

Looks like my cam and lifters are wearing out

One to Two threads showing is the norm for those rockers. The pushrod cup height difference between the hyd/solid lifters is about .250”.

Looks like my cam and lifters are wearing out

I test assembled the cam, lifters, and pushrods. I’ve heard that there should be only 1-2 threads showing under the rocker arm. Is that the case?
