New here--I've been a mechanic for 51 years, retired now. Started with foreign car, worked automotive machine, spent most all
working class 8 diesel trucks up till a few years ago. Built a lot of engines in that time, gas & diesel but mostly 14 & 15 liter.
Anyway I have this 383 that was given to me and will probably either rebuild it stock except for a DP4B intake and newer AVS
650. And just put the 574 cam it came with back with a new one just like it. So any help with my thread will be helpful.

No, there is no car---I did own this 84 W150 for 24 years though.

Wow 14 & 15 Liter engines !!!

A typical rebuild of mine--a Big Cam III 400, with some additions to make 460 HP and 1550 torque. One of five I
built in the two years after retirement for something to do. Just built as spec engines, sold each one in less than
36 hours.

And my as well throw in some other items---My engine stand I built using a model 95 combine final drive
for rotating gear box plus over head hoist for cranks & heads--will support 6,000 lbs of engine, 5'x5"x3/8"
square tube.

And my final photos, I started this project in 2017. 1960 B75 Model Mack. I manufactured the frame & all crossmembers,
grille, bumper, mirror brackets, steering adaption to power, all linkages, interior, Hood & fender extensions. It's the only
true/major stretch hood B model Mack ever built, I added 17" to the nose/hood, original length was 52 IIRC. 400 Cummins,
late model 13speed with 3:73 rears, I had it up 80 mph. I don't own it anymore, Its in Manchester New Hampshire owned
by Joseph Equipment. I sold it in 2021. It was featured in Overdrive online magazine. Bout cried the day I sold it but it wasn't
meant for me to keep. Name on hood is {My Last One}.

I don't even know where to start at to how awesome that is !!!
