    Door lock

PB Blaster is some good stuff. I push and hold the button while closing the door to check adjustment and alignment. If it drags , it needs lubed and/or adjusted.

    Door lock

First, check that all the screws/bolts on the lock & striker are rock-solid tight (they can get loose). Then PB Blaster the heck out of the lock mechanism. Finally, grease it up really well (I used red grease, but I’m not sure that’s the best choice?). Then as said above, trial & error. Also...

What color are the headlight bezels on a 69 GTX?

Light silver is Belvedere and Satellite. Roadrunner has the darker textured argent paint. The factory dark argent paint fades over time and gets lighter.

What color are the headlight bezels on a 69 GTX?

I ordered new headlight bezels from OER and the don't look like the ones I have or any photo I pull up on the web. They are painted with a dark textured argent silver paint. I think they should be light silver argent paint. Which is correct? This photo shows mine with the new bezel held in front.

Love the Whale engines! Many eons ago I was walking the field at a Long Island car show and a fellow had stuffed a 354 or 392 (I don't recall) into a '67-'69 Dart. Two non-Mopar types were walking the other direction and as we passed I heard one tell the other "Yep, my old man had one just...
