Can anyone determine from this wiring diagram where the choke controller gets its source of current? Can't tell if it's ignition switch, ballast resistor, or somewhere else.

I have a grille that was in my 68 Charger when I got it. I removed it intact and it has been in my loft since 2014. It is complete with vacuum hoses and wiring along with the latch system. Has an extra R/T emblem the previous owner thought it needed. PM me with any interest.

According to the photo on ebay, this does not have the wire. I believe #1407 has the wire.

If I lived as far south as you do I wouldn't worry about the electric choke. I would set it light for cold start and see how long it takes to open fully with just engine heat.

I carried a correct date code NOS Carter AVS in the trunk of Baby Blue for years. It was my comeback for the no car nit pickers who dissed me on the Holley street avenger. Turbine68rt has it on his Charger now.

I carry spare bits in the back of my camper. And so the wrong PerTronix ignition has been to many far off places.

Update: i now have intermittent continuity with horn wire inside the column…. All things on hold til new signal switch arrives next week

I bought a new wiper motor, and bashed the old rusty unit with a big hammer. The connecting pieces can get hard to move, and the ground may be insufficient. Meanwhile I would like to know how to make the slow speed, a lot slower. My new motor is a 2 speed, same as the old rusty banged up old...

In order for any of these factory types to work correctly, you must use the correct thick TQ base gasket
