I used it for a name suggested by a friend when I joined this site --------Bob so famous bob on b bodies --lol
I still have a tank top that has nhoa on it with the paciderm hemi , it was from the NATIONAL HEMI OWNERS ASSOCIATION, met those guys at Tulsa , at a hemi owners race , which I won by the way ... jfyi
mine will rattle the u joints and bang like hell at non pulling acceleration , if I shift manually , or let it shift automatically under load it is almost stock feeling , except for how quick it shifts ..
I don't particularly like it ...
not so my fine fathered friend: we changed a 66 satellite to a 67 belvedere gtx /without the gtx badges, back when there was a class diff between them in AHRA...
the tail light housings Dont bolt up the same , I redrilled the holes to fit the 67`s on , the grill can be done the same way ,altho...
not sure what ur saying here , but raise the rpm on one of the pipeline engines and see how hot it would get before it broke forever !!
hi perf. engines will run hotter than stock engines...
^^^^^bullshit , i ran a lot of 115/145 in a stock 68 form. S 383 fastback back when , turned the tailpies blue , no other noticble diff...really couldn`t tell any perf. diff either...
boy something don't look right , Dont remember either of mine having a bolt hole under the manifold !
You sure you have parts matched right ? We are talking about a 426 hemi aren't we ? Manifolds look wrong / best I can remember , show a pi of the whole manifold >>..
I used to work on 8,12 and 16 cyl pipeline engines , they were not hi rpm (performance) engines , built to run yrs and yrs at 350ish rpm according to the type and manufacturer .
Hot hi perf. engines require more cooling that even stock hi performance engines , at least all of mine have !!
wondering which heads you have , maybe a factory head that was configured for headers ----??????
I`d put a sealer an it and use a bolt that wont quite touch the head bolt and fugetaboutit .
scusem Waugh , I thot you were talking about inside the head .
I wouldn't worry about that f it doesn't go thru to the water jacket , or such...
assuming you have the right manifolds on it , been too long since I had my hemis ?????/
