Do any of y'all have a lead on fetching the 5 or so OEM clips that attach the leading chrome molding on the hoods of '65 Coronets?

I rather have original Chrysler types as I don't know how the reproduction units will fit or behave.
Good machinists with good machines and experience to match are extremely hard to find these days, especially here in New York. That's why I went to Detroit to get some honest to goodness work done including good old fashion assistance from local car lovers.

Sorry to hear about all those debacles. I remember us discussing it in Carlisle a year or so ago. Who's to blame? you can't even know where to start and at this point, not even worth it other than changing prep chefs in the kitchen and you being the main chef.

I've seen Deluxe somewhere. It looks like an exterior trim option perhaps. There were a few Hemi 2dr sedan models (non A990) that were not available to the public at all, but were being tested out west. Anything was possible with mother Mopar.
I'm surprised they never offered a no trim hardtop. Basically it was either the 440 or 500 trim options or down to steerage for the sedans. Personally, I love the sedans much more than the Hardtops or ragtops. The Hardtops are beautiful in their own right.
Yes, the Hardtops which were best sellers were designated with the 440 and 500 trim options. I never heard of or seen a hardtop low grade model. I could be wrong though.
Is black chromium or black chrome powder coating a thing of the past or is still being performed?
I had my rear bumper powder coated in black chrome in north Detroit and can't remember the gents info. He did an excellent job that still stands to this day.
Never mind guys. I found out that the code 330 is a street side bleed over from the '64 year describing the low line grade sedans. The '65 2 door sedans are just simply designated as Coronet sedan.
Have I been wrong all this time in indicating that a 1965 Dodge Coronet plain Jane sedan is a 330?
330 being the lowest grade model in the semi crowded field of 440-500 models in 1964 and before supposedly was discontinued in the '65 year. Am I wrong or right?.
I feel what you are saying. Those are good returns for such little weight. As little as it sounds, it's huge in rotational as apposed to static.
I did not seriously look at any bob weight and crank weight reduction when the engine was built years back, but I'm sure that the whole entire...

Keep in mind folks, that this thing still harnesses an all iron factory block, so any aluminum condiments and parts that it could receive is a step closer.
As a note: aluminum heads, intake manifold, valve covers, water pump housing, water pump, water thermostat housing, alternator brackets...
.................................................replace them with T-2024 grade aluminum bolts, flat and lock washers.
