    Thanks Doug, The pin is so rough it feels like it is threaded, I thought it might be holding the spool in an inboard position. The seal rings do look pretty bad though.

    When I opened it, it poured onto a dish towel size rag I had handy. Soaked that rag. Put the plug back in. Got a small 1’ x 1’ pan and it just about covered the bottom. Then it stopped

    I hate 'Suck Operas' too.....the wife likes the 'Mold and the Old' and I'll watch it if it's recorded so I can FF through the crap that's rehashed over and over and she'll laugh at most of it because I'm cracking jokes through most of it! :D
