So I have the repop bezels I am using on my GTX. I have some older nuts removed from the original bezels. I also purchased new nuts that are for a 70-71 Challenger. Does anyone know if these will work or should I just clean up the old ones and reuse? Also, is there a trick to keep the bezels...
Don't want to do something illegal or underhanded. I purchased a 67 Coronet 500 (supposedly) that has a plymouth fender tag and a Dodge VIN number.
I wrote to get the correct factory documents so will be removing the Plymouth fender tag.
Should I destroy it or can someone else use it on their car?
Try what PurpleBeater says. Would be helpful if you would tell us if you have an original points ignition system or electronic ignition system as well as what brand / type if electronic ignition. Replacing an alternator should not cause a problem with the ignition system.
I think it does have something along those lines in it. I wiped down all the areas to get paint multiple times with 99% isopropyl alcohol. May hit it with prepsol before I paint.
Thanks
